Consultation and Counseling

Dr. Phil Sallee is uniquely qualified to assist church leaders with issues in which he is trained and experienced. Phil has been a Student Pastor, a Church Planter, and a Pastor. He has pastored both small and large churches.  Sallee Group Team Members help defray the cost of consultation and counseling for church leadership.

Counseling

Counseling is not for “crazy or desperate” people. You don’t have to have had a  “meltdown or a breakdown,” to address difficult or confusing issues that come up in life.  So how do you know when it’s time to see a counselor?

• Do you feel sad, angry or just “not yourself”?

• Do you seek to escape or self medicate with alcohol, drugs, or sexual addictions?

• Have you lost something significant or someone special?

• Have you experienced a traumatic or disturbing event?

• Are you experiencing a loss of contentment or energy to do things you enjoy?

Grief can be a long and difficult process to endure without the support of an experienced counselor. There is no shame in needing a little help to get through a tough time.

Consultation

A positive consultation experience should help church leaders clarify their biblical and essential direction as a church. Once the direction is identified, a good consultant should help unify the church leadership around a fresh vision to advance in that direction.

Ultimately, a positive consultation should provide a master-planned roadmap identifying the church's future path to health and growth.
